Optimizations

12 answers

What is the “Optimizations” section?

It’s your action plan: Zeo audits your campaigns and turns its findings into concrete actions. Each action tells you what to do, on which campaign, and how. You’ll find them in the “Action plan” tab.

How are the actions ranked by impact?

Each action has an estimated impact: high, medium or low. Start with the high-impact ones: they’re the biggest levers and often the quickest. You can filter by impact with the All, High, Medium and Low buttons.

What’s a “quick win”?

It’s a high-impact action that takes little effort, marked with a green “Quick win” badge. These are the best ones to start with. The “Quick wins” sort puts them at the top.

What does the effort level of an action mean?

Along with its impact, an action can be marked Low effort, Medium effort or High effort, depending on the work it takes. It helps you plan your time. The “Easiest first” sort puts the least demanding actions at the top.

How do I mark an action as done or in progress?

On each card, use the “In progress”, “Done” or “Ignore” buttons. Actions then move to the To do, In progress, Done and Ignored tabs. Once you’ve applied an action in Google Ads, mark it “Done” to track your progress.

Why does Zeo ask for a reason when I ignore an action?

Telling Zeo why you set an action aside helps it target its next recommendations better. Pick one of the suggested reasons or write your own with “Other”. It’s optional, but it helps fine-tune your suggestions.

I marked an action by mistake. Can I undo it?

Yes. A done or ignored action has a “Move back to to-do” button. Nothing is final: you can rework your plan at any time.

How do I see an action’s step-by-step instructions?

On the card, expand the numbered steps (or click “Show details”). They tell you where to go in Google Ads and what to click. A closing note often tells you what to watch next.

What are the notes and milestones on an action for?

With “Log a change / milestone”, you record what you changed and when, for example “raised target ROAS from 130% to 160%”. Optimizations often happen in stages, and this log keeps track of your adjustments. You can add or delete a note at any time.

How do I sort and filter my optimization actions?

The To do, In progress, Done and Ignored tabs group actions by status, with a count on each. On the right, filter by impact and sort by Quick wins, Impact first, Easiest first or Most recent. What matters most always comes first.

What do the Budget, Bidding, Targeting… labels mean?

They show the action’s category: Budget, Bidding, Targeting, Structure, Creative, Keywords, Products, Feed or Tracking. You can see at a glance which lever you’re about to pull. The card also shows the name of the campaign involved.

How do I see only the actions from a specific analysis?

In the Analyses tab, click “View actions” on a report. The board then shows only that report’s actions, with a banner to remind you. Click “Show all” to go back to the whole account.
